Transforming Lives Through Service
On November 15th, The WASH Foundation had the privilege of hosting a transformative community service event in Las Vegas, made possible through the generous support of Caesars Foundation. Partnering with Nevada Homeless Alliance, The Center, Clark County Government, and over 20 dedicated organizations from across Clark County, we provided critical services to 189 unhoused and underhoused individuals.
Thanks to our incredible partners and sponsors, this event had a profound impact. Together, we distributed 450 backpacks and hygiene kits, provided food, transitional housing resources, medical insurance assistance, vision screenings, showers, clothing, and so much more. A special thank you goes to The Center for hosting the event with us and providing logistical support, which ensured its success.
Highlights of the Day
Our mobile shower unit provided 49 guests with access to warm showers, clean clothing, and hygiene essentials, giving dignity and comfort to those in need. The Clark County Government’s Mobile Dental Clinic offered on-site dental treatments to 12 individuals, with 24 additional appointments scheduled for follow-up care. The event also featured services such as legal aid, employment resources, medical support, and mental health assistance, ensuring a holistic approach to meeting community needs.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our partners, including Legal Aid Center, Wellcare, CPLC, UHC, Disability Help Center, Employ NV, Judah Recovery, Molina, Humana, DWSS, Arkos Health, the VA, UNLV Trio, HELP of Southern Nevada, Vegas Stronger, and CCCS Homeless Outreach. Each organization played a vital role in creating a supportive environment and providing essential resources to our guests.
