Since 2010, Caesars Foundation and Caesars Entertainment have been invaluable partners to The WASH Foundation, an evolution of Clean the World Foundation. Their unwavering commitment to our mission has not only involved recycling soap from their hotels but also providing grants for our domestic programs. Once again Caesars Foundation has demonstrated its dedication by generously awarding us a grant for 2023.
Thanks to this generous support, The WASH Foundation is proud to launch hygiene stations in the Las Vegas community to assist individuals experiencing homelessness. These hygiene stations will encompass portable toilets, hand washing stations, and essential hygiene supplies, including menstrual hygiene products. Laminated posters placed at each unit will illustrate how to practice proper handwashing and how to curb the transmission of communicable diseases. By providing these critical services to those experiencing homelessness, we ensure that they have the resources they need to stay healthy.
As a part of Caesars Entertainment’s commitment to social impact, Caesars employees volunteer thousands of hours to support local causes through their HERO program. This recent grant allows for volunteer opportunities for Caesars employees to build hygiene kits at their property. These completed kits are then passed out to charities in the community and to shower guests at the Fresh Start WASH & Wellness mobile shower. By actively engaging their employees in volunteer activities, Caesars Entertainment empowers individuals to create a positive and lasting impact.
The long-standing partnership between Caesars Entertainment, Caesars Foundation, and The WASH Foundation has transformed the lives of millions of people worldwide. Through their ongoing support, critical hygiene supplies and services have reached those in need. We thank the Caesars Foundation for their generosity in granting us the funds to continually support the Fresh Start WASH & Wellness Program, which provides warm showers, hygiene supplies, and supportive services in Las Vegas and across the United States.
