Serving the Las Vegas Community: Our Outreach Event
On October 10, The WASH Foundation and Caesars Foundation led the second annual Las Vegas Community Service Event with 15 partners. Organized at The Center near downtown, this outreach connected Las Vegas residents experiencing homelessness to essential services and resources.
Combating Homelessness in Southern Nevada: Meals, Showers, and Support
The event was more than a service hub. It fostered dignity, connection, and comfort. Guests were greeted by volunteers and invited to enjoy hot meals, mobile showers, haircuts, clothing, and hygiene kits.
Additional support included health screenings, housing guidance, employment assistance, veteran services, and more. These offerings help reduce barriers faced by over 7,900 people experiencing homelessness in Clark County each night.
Caesars Foundation Grant: Fueling Dignity and Compassion
Thanks to the 2025 Caesars Foundation grant, The WASH Foundation delivered 106 meals, 48 showers, 79 hygiene kits, 115 snack bags, and vital resources to over 80 individuals. The support of Caesars Foundation makes meaningful impact possible by funding both outreach events and the FreshStart Wash and Wellness Mobile Shower Program.
Building Impact through Partnerships and Community Care
Our event brought together experts from 15 organizations, all committed to dignity, compassion, and sustainable community wellness. These partnerships promote connection, give people more choices, and advance real progress for residents experiencing homelessness in Southern Nevada.
