Imagine going a day, a week, a month – without a shower.  How would you feel?  Not to mention living on the streets, having no privacy, sleeping on hard surfaces, not knowing when you’ll get your next meal, or your next shower. When you support our Fresh Start WASH & Wellness Program – you become part of a bigger initiative – providing our unhoused community with HOPE, DIGNITY and LOVE.  By providing showers to this underserved population, we are lifting spirits and making them feel SEEN again.  Did you know that individuals experiencing homelessness feel like they are invisible?   

With your support, together we can combat homelessness in communities across the U.S. Our current Fresh Start WASH & Wellness Program locations are Las Vegas and Orlando. We are expanding to more areas, check back often for updates.

The Solution: Clean the World’s Fresh Start WASH & Wellness Program

The WASH Foundation, an evolution of Clean the World Foundation has delivered over 41,000 showers to individuals experiencing homelessness.  Over the past year and half, we’ve helped to reduce the spread of COVID-19 to the unhoused population by providing a basic need that everyone deserves access to – hygiene.

Through mobile shower units, WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) programming and Wellness (COVID-19 testing, HEP A / HEP C vaccinations, and illness prevention) services, Clean the World’s Fresh Start WASH & Wellness Program is the driving force towards a successful transition to treatment, housing, and job placement services for this underserved community. As these services are provided, Clean the World connects individuals to other local organizations that provide emergency shelter, food, clothing, medical care, detoxification services, hygiene supplies and more.

About Our Shower Units

Our Fresh Start WASH & Wellness mobile shower units are fabricated to meet the needs of your community.  We create each shower stall to give the look, feel, and comfort of home.  Giving the ultimate hygiene experience for individuals experiencing homelessness.

  • Completely mobile, self-contained
  • No outside water or power source needed
  • Custom built lightweight trailers
  • Provides up to 250 showers weekly (4 stall unit)
  • Independently run stalls (1 ADA stall)
  • Porcelain sink and toilet
  • Fiberglass shower with stainless pan
  • Large dressing area with fold down bench
  • Hooks to hang personal items
  • Equipped with baby changing station
  • The unit can co-branded and wrapped (depending on level of sponsorship)

To enhance our program, we partner with other local organizations to provide wrap-around services: haircuts/shaves, medical/dental check-ups, vaccinations, COVID-19 testing, clothing, food, treatment, emergency shelters, and more.

We are using HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) in Orange County FL and Clark County NV where we can offer certain data points from the information we collect. If your corporation/business would like to report on specific data outcomes and metrics, we can work with you on what we can provide.

Your sponsorship will help us expand hygiene and shower access to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness across the country. Specifically your contribution will help Clean the World create an end-to-end WASH & Wellness Program in an area of your choice including:
  • Author and Direct turnkey program including design and deployment
  • Purchase/lease truck to tow shower unit
  • Hiring and training of team members including payroll and benefits
  • Partnership development and preparing/managing shower schedule
  • Maintenance and regular sanitizing and cleaning of shower unit.
  • Procurement off all supplies
  • Dumping, storage, and laundry services daily
  • Ongoing legal and business services
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Graphic design and photography
  • HMIS case management and data entry
