Water is the most critical resource on the planet, vital to sustaining biodiversity, protecting ecosystems - such as oceans, wetlands, and rivers - and supporting livelihoods all around the planet.
The Approach
The Drop by Drop Project is a collaborative initiative that sets out to reinvest capital from Sands water stewardship efforts into innovative projects. This grant is by invitation only. Water savings from our corporate partner conservation programs are converted into Drop by Drop funding that is then awarded to local water champions for projects that increase local water resiliency, reinvigorate ecosystems, incubate new water solutions, and engage the community.
