On August 8, wildfires tore through the island of Maui in Hawaii. Hurricane Dora only fueled the flames despite being offshore, bringing hurricane-force winds to Maui and the Big Island. The wildfires in Maui have left behind an unprecedented trail of destruction, becoming the deadliest natural disaster in Hawaii’s history. As of August 10, the devastating wildfires destroyed most of the historic town of Lahaina, and many lives have been lost. Thousands of Maui residents are grappling with the loss of their homes and are without clean drinking water and essential hygiene supplies. In these dire moments, we must come together and look for ways to offer our support.

Clean the World Foundation is working tirelessly to provide disaster relief to those affected by the Maui wildfires, and we cannot do it without your help. We are extremely grateful to Soapbox for their generous donation that has allowed Clean the World Foundation to ship 10,000 hygiene kits and hygiene supplies to Maui. As we speak, we are assembling additional hygiene supplies to be used for our relief efforts.
