In 2019, we chose four schools to participate in a WASH in Schools program in the Punta Cana/Bavaro area. Our involvement began based on the need to help students and their families understand the close relationship between good health and hygiene and sanitation habits. During the program’s implementation, we installed a total of 16 sinks across four schools to help emphasize the importance of proper handwashing.
