On February 6th, a 7.8 Magnitude Earthquake Occurred in Southern Turkey Near the Northern Border of Syria

On February 6th, Turkey was struck by a 7.8 magnitude catastrophic earthquake that was also felt in Syria. Hundreds of aftershocks measuring 4.0 or greater have occurred since the earthquake struck, destroying thousands of homes and buildings, tragically impacting over 50,000 people, with thousands still missing.

In response to the recent earthquake events, Clean the World Foundation is raising funds to support humanitarian and WASH-related aid in the region affected by this catastrophic disaster. These efforts will also focus on combating the recent outbreak of cholera in some parts of Syria as well.

Come work alongside volunteers from all parts of the country as we sort plastic from soap, pack hygiene kits, and box new bars of recycled soap that will then be distributed to people in need. Individuals, groups, and children over 8 years of age are welcome to participate!
